Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 25, 2026

Honey Do HQ ("the app") is a private household management tool. This page explains what information the app collects from members of the household who use it, and how that information is handled. This is a plain-language summary, not a substitute for legal advice — if you need a policy reviewed for a specific legal requirement, please have an attorney review it.

Who this applies to

Honey Do HQ is invite-only. It is intended for members of one household who have been personally invited by an admin of this app. It is not a public product and is not intended for use by anyone outside that household.

What we collect

When you use Honey Do HQ, the app stores information you and other household members enter directly, including:

  • Your name, email address, and an optional profile photo
  • Tasks, chores, projects, budgets, and notes you or others create
  • Photos and videos you upload (e.g. before/after project photos, shout-out photos)
  • Poll votes, reward redemptions, and points activity
  • Messages you send to the built-in HoneyBee AI research assistant
  • If you enable push notifications, a browser-issued subscription token used to deliver reminders

How it's used

Information is used only to run the app for your household: showing shared tasks and projects, sending task-reminder emails and push notifications, and powering the HoneyBee AI assistant (your questions are sent to a third-party AI model to generate a response, but are not used to identify you to that provider beyond the content of your question).

Who can see it

Because this is a shared household app, other invited members of your household can see the data you and they enter — that's the point of the app. Data is not shared outside your household or sold to third parties.

Data storage

The app is built and hosted on Base44. Uploaded photos and videos are stored via Base44's file storage. Task reminder emails are sent through Base44's email sending integration.

Your choices

You can update your display name and profile photo at any time from your profile menu. You can turn push notifications off at any time from the notification bell menu. If you'd like your account or data removed entirely, contact the household admin.

Questions

If you have questions about this policy, contact the admin who invited you to Honey Do HQ.
